Brighouse, Elland, Greetland&Stainland (G&S) Hipperholme&Lightcliffe H&L)  Northowram&Shelf (N&S) and Rastrick


For the week 20 to 26  September

Burglary Residential – 7
Theft from motor vehicle / Vehicle interference – 4
Theft of motor vehicle - 1

Burglary Residential
Suspects disturbed breaking into shed (lock forced). Suspects made off – Elland
House entered via window and property taken – Elland (G&S)
Suspects tried door handle of house but challenged and made off – Brighouse
Door lock forced, house entered, property stolen – Rastrick
Patio door damage believed in attempt in gain entry to house – Rastrick
Shed entered after lock cut. Property taken – Elland
House window opened believed in attempt to gain entry, but no entry gained – Shelf (N&S)

Theft from motor vehicle/Vehicle Interference
Window smashed on vehicle, entry gained and, property taken – Shelf (N&S)
Vehicle entered by unknown means and property taken- Brighouse
Registration plates removed from vehicle – Shelf (N&S)
Vehicle entered by unknown means and property taken – Rastrick

Theft of motor vehicle

Lexmoto scooter removed but found nearby – Greetland (G&S)
 
Save time and do it online

In case you missed the press release on 24 September

West Yorkshire Police is urging residents who need a non-urgent police response to save time and do it online.
The Force has a number of online contact tools which people can use to seek advice, get updates on crimes or report a non-emergency situation. 
And a campaign has been launched by the Force to encourage people to use the online alternatives to the 101 number.
