Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Ladbroke Grove on Thursday 5th November between 18:00hrs and 19:16hrs

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Victim returns home after work to find the front door wide open, and the door lock had been snapped. Victim realises that both the front and the back door locks have been snapped, also the rear door window has been put through and the glass smashed

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
