Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Rushmoor Road on Tuesday 3rd November between 19:00hrs and 9:15hrs

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

 4-5 suspects on 2 e-bikes wearing dark clothing and balaclavas have attempted to snap the euro profile lock, causing damage but was disturbed by the female occupant

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
