Supporting Calderdale Royal Hospital Staff |

|
We are aware of concerns from staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital following changes to parking arrangements due to the construction of the new multi-storey car park. With fewer parking spaces available close to the hospital, many staff are now having to walk longer distances to and from work, often during hours of darkness, including late at night and in the early hours of the morning.
To help support staff and provide additional reassurance, your local hospital PCSO, PCSO Senior, has recently distributed 50 personal attack alarms to hospital staff.
While Calderdale remains a safe place to live and work, we would encourage anyone travelling to and from the hospital to consider the following personal safety advice: 👀 If you witness any suspicious behaviour, individuals acting out of place, or any criminal activity, please report it to us. Information from the public helps us identify issues quickly and take appropriate action.
📞 In an emergency, always call 999. For non-emergency concerns, report online or call 101. PCSO Senior, the dedicated hospital officer, remains available to provide advice, support and reassurance to hospital staff. If you have any concerns regarding personal safety whilst travelling to or from work, please don't hesitate to speak with her.
Together, we can help keep our hospital staff safe whilst they continue caring for our community. | ||
