Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Royal Oak Mews on Tuesday 22nd September between 09:30hrs and 10:25hrs

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

3 Masked suspect/s have gained access to the property by attacking the rear door lock, once inside they have removed items

 Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (09:30 & 10:25) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.

Whilst we do not wish to alarm residents, it is always worthwhile reviewing your home security and reporting anything that seems suspicious. If you have any information regarding this or any other burglary, please contact us on 101.
