Burglary Near You - Heaton Park Drive

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Heaton Park Drive between Monday 7th September 13:30hrs and Wednesday 9th September 10:00hrs, the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Monday 7th September 13:30hrs and Wednesday 9th September 10:00hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
