Dear Resident,
Following on from the recent community speed watch operations we have carried out in the Bingley rural area, earlier, today we arranged for officers from Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team to reattend, but this time to carry out speed enforcement.
Two tickets were issued to drivers exceeding the speed limit on Harden Road, Harden and Manywells Brow, Cullingworth.
Thankfully the majority of road users continue to drive safely and appropriately. There are some who still need reminding that speed limits are in place to protect everyone who uses our roads. Driving above the speed limit reduces your ability to react to hazards, increases stopping distances, and significantly raises the likelihood of serious or fatal collisions.
