Burglary Near You- Kilnsea Mount, BD4 |
||
|
Dear Resident
You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Kilnsea Mount, this occurred on Sunday 16th August 1300hrs and 1500hrs and the method of attack was by smashing the rear kitchen window to gain access.
Between the reported times, unknown suspects targeted the address by smashing a rear kitchen window to gain entry. Once inside, the offenders carried out an untidy search of the upstairs bedrooms before leaving the property. The occupant returned home, discovered the burglary and contacted police.
Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals in their area. Please ensure that doors and windows are secured and consider the use of CCTV, alarms, and security lighting where possible.
Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between times above to check if you had any activations.
Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.
Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police. Should you have any information about either burglary please contact us on 101. Thanks
