Good Morning
I am the NPT Sgt for Windhill and Wrose Ward, having being in post for a year now, I feel this is a good time to have a refresh on the issues affecting you directly.
We have been fighting the never ending battle against the use of e-bikes and off-roaders across the ward - this is difficult to combat but trust me when I say, we are trying to tackle this. There is an intelligence gap in relation to where these bikes are stored - if we had this, we can attend with Steerside and look to seize these bikes.
The other thing we have been targeting is drug dealing around the Wrose area, we have had some good arrests in the last year of suspected drug dealers and having them on bail conditions has resulted in a reduction of drug dealing calls. We know it is still ongoing but the names/faces change, so any intelligence that can be shared will help us immeasurably.
Moving forward - I want to know what the issues directly affecting you are, whereabouts these issues are happening, and if you know, who is involved. This can help me deploy my staff in a better manner to ensure we are tackling the issues directly affecting our community.
