Toyota Hilux pick-up truck stolen from Wrenthorpe.

We are urging Toyota Hilux owners to take extra security precautions after one was stolen, without the keys, in the early hours of the morning on Friday 07 August from Wrenthorpe Road, Wrenthorpe.

Prevention tips:

Always lock and secure your vehicle, even if parked on your driveway.

Use a steering wheel lock or additional visible deterrent.

Consider fitting a tracking device or aftermarket immobiliser.

Park in a well lit area.

Never leave keys or fobs near doors or windows where they can be scanned or taken.

Reports any suspicious activity around vehicles immediately to police.

If you own a Toyota Hilux, please be extra vigilant.
