Attempt Burglary - Near You - Tichborne Road, Little Horton, BD5

Dear Resident,

Residents are asked to remain vigilant following a report of suspicious behaviour in the area.

Between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm on 26 July 2026, an unknown individual approached a residential property and attempted to open the front door by pulling the handle. The individual then tried to insert a key into the door lock. When this was unsuccessful, they moved to the neighbouring property and again attempted to use the same key in the front door lock before leaving the area.

The occupant did not recognise the individual and no entry was gained to either property.

We encourage residents to:

Ensure all doors and windows are locked and secure.

Report any suspicious activity or unknown persons attempting to access properties.

Check any CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage that may assist with enquiries.

Look out for neighbours and report any concerns promptly.
