How You Can Protect Your Property

✅ Secure gates, sheds and outbuildings with good-quality locks.

✅ Install motion-activated lighting and CCTV where possible.

✅ Mark valuable metal items with forensic property marking products or unique identifiers.

✅ Store metal, tools and machinery out of sight and within secure compounds.

✅ Remove redundant metal and scrap from premises promptly to avoid attracting thieves.

✅ Consider fencing, ground anchors or security cages for valuable items such as trailers, generators and metal stock.

✅ Keep a record of serial numbers, photographs and identifying marks.
