Community Safety Message – Theft from Motor Vehicles

We have seen a high number of thefts from motor vehicles overnight across the Bradford West area.

Please take a few moments to help protect your vehicle and belongings:

Always lock your vehicle, even when parked outside your home.

Remove all valuables and personal items from the vehicle.

Do not leave bags, wallets, cash, tools, work equipment, keys, or electronic devices on display.

Ensure windows, sunroofs, and doors are fully secured.

Consider using additional security measures such as steering locks, alarms, or CCTV where available.

Remember, opportunistic criminals will often walk for miles during the night looking for insecure vehicles or items left on display. Even low-value items can attract unwanted attention and result in costly damage to your vehicle.
