Burglary Near You - Clayton Lane

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Clayton Lane, this occurred Friday 12th June between 2000hrs and Saturday 13th June 1100hrs the method of attack was by forcing entry to the door.

During this timeframe, the victim had left their home address. An unknown suspect has forced entry to the property, taken car keys, and stolen the victim’s vehicle.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between see above times to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
