Burglary Near You - The Grove, Baildon BD17

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred sometime between 11.45pm on 10/06/2026 and 5am on 11/06/2026. The attacked address is located on The Grove, Baildon, the house is close the main roundabout. The method of entry used was by blow torch and then snapping the door cylinder lock. 

The suspects made a search of the house and managed to locate the keys to both vehicle parked at the address, both vehicles were then stolen. The stolen vehicles are a blue Vauxhall Corsa, this has now been located and recovered. The other is a grey Cupra Leon, this is still missing.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (times) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
