Dear Resident
You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Saturday 16th May 0950hrs and 1010hrs on Kirkham Road, Bradford, The suspects managed to walk in through the front door. unfortunaltey the victim was in the rear garden and unaware. The suspect carried out an untidy search of the property and stole items including a small amount of gold, a passport, bank cards, and mobile phones. The suspect then left the area on foot in the direction of Spencer Road. The suspect has been captured on CCTV and is described as an Eastern European female with brown hair. Anyone with information or who may have CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area around the stated time is asked to contact police.
Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Saturday 16th May 0930hrs and 1030hrs to check if you had any activations.
Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.
Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police. Should you have any information about either burglary please contact us on 101. Thanks
