🚨 Community Alert – Vehicle Damage / Attempted Theft 🚨

Between Tuesday 12th May 0900hrs -1615hrs of a vehicle being targeted in an open public car park while the owner was at work.

🔹 What happened:

The vehicle was left parked in a public car park.

On return, the owner found the front nearside window smashed.

The glove box had been opened and the centre console forced open.

Nothing appears to have been stolen.

🔹 Advice for residents and commuters:

Avoid leaving valuables in your vehicle, even if out of sight.

Park in well-lit, busy areas where possible.

Consider using CCTV-covered or secure car parks.

Report any suspicious activity immediately.

🔹 If you have seen anything suspicious in the area or have CCTV/dashcam footage, please report it to the police via 101 or online.
