Dear Resident,

Team 1 Bradford East officers have today carried out a coordinated morning of action targeting anti-social behaviour (ASB) linked to vehicle use in the Canterbury area.

Working alongside partners from Bradford Council and the DVSA, the operation delivered a strong visible presence within the community, directly addressing ongoing concerns raised by residents.

Key outcomes from the operation:

✅ 1 vehicle seized – driver found to be unlicensed

✅ 1 Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme (VDRS) notice issued – underinflated tyre

✅ Multiple Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) issued for road traffic offences

In addition to enforcement activity, officers conducted door-to-door engagement, delivering letters in a nearby ASB hotspot. This proactive approach aimed to reassure residents, provide advice, and gather further information.

Continued focus on the area with proactive patrols planned later this week

Ongoing partnership work to tackle ASB and improve community safety
