Theft from Motor Vehicle - St Leonards Road

🚨 Community Alert – Number Plate Theft

Incident Summary:
Between Saturday 9th May 0000hrs and Saturday 9th May 0800hrs, a vehicle was parked locked and secure on the roadside.

During this period, unknown person(s) approached the vehicle and removed both the front and rear number plates. The offender(s) then made off with the plates unseen in an unknown direction.

🔒 Crime Prevention Advice:

Regularly check your vehicle to ensure plates are secure.

Consider fitting anti-theft screws or secure plate fittings.

Park in well-lit, overlooked areas where possible.

Be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
