National Highways are hosting a free family friendly event on Saturday 9th May 2026 at Calder View House, Peel Avenue, Calder Park, Wakefield WF2 7UA.
Chat to their traffic officers, control room operators and other team members.Meet our partners such as other emergency services.Take part in fun activities and explore highways vehicles.Book a visit to the Regional Operations Centre upon arrival (please note, spaces are limited).Get your tyres checked.The last hour, 1–2pm, will be a quiet hour, with no loud sounds or bright lights.Free parking at OE, Calder Park, Wakefield, WF4 3GH (opposite the venue). Some disabled parking also available near Calder View House itself.
