🚓 Operation Steerside – Tong Day of Action 🚓
Officers from BD South NPT carried out targeted patrols in the Tong area as part of Operation Steerside, supported by local ward councillors.
This operation focuses on tackling the Fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving, using intelligence provided by the community.

Failing to wear a seatbelt
Speeding
Driving under the influence of drink or drugs
Using a mobile phone whilst driving
Careless or dangerous driving

🔗 4 seatbelt offences detected
📱 1 mobile phone offence
📄 9 additional traffic offence reports issued
🚗 3 vehicle seizures
🧠 1 intelligence submission
🚫 1 driver dealt with for disqualified driving
