Regent Street - Criminal activity

Dear Resident

Earlier this week, PC Appleyard and PCSO Young from Rural NPT visited Regent Street, Belle Vue where they spoke to residents and carried out a leaflet drop with crime prevention advice following a spike in criminal activity at this location. 

Update - A male was arrested on 29th April, by PC Garlick from Wakefield Central NPT following an attempt burglary on Regent St, Belle Vue; investigations are ongoing, but this male has been linked to a total of 9 attempt residential burglaries on the same street. He was remanded in custody to await a court hearing.
