Burglary Near You- Hawkshead Drive BD5

Dear Resident,

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Hawkshead Drive between Tuesday 21st April 0830hrs and Thursday 23dr April 1100hrs.

The victim returned home and noticed that their front door was unlocked. Although there were no signs of forced entry, unknown suspect(s) entered the property and removed the following items:

As a precaution, we would ask residents in the area to consider the following:

CCTV / Doorbell Cameras
If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check any footage between the above time frame or around this period, for any suspicious activity. Any relevant footage could be very helpful.

Door and Lock Security
If you have a door fitted with a cylinder lock (commonly found on composite or uPVC doors), please check that the lock is secure, fitted correctly, and in good working order.

We recommend using a 3‑star rated anti‑snap cylinder lock, which will have three stars displayed on the front and be TS007 or SS312 rated. Many locksmiths and hardware retailers supply these locks.

While we do not wish to alarm anyone, it is always good practice to review your home security and report anything suspicious to the police.
