You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Welbeck Close between Friday 17th April 21:50hrs and Saturday 18th April 00:03hrs

The method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock.

BETWEEN DATES AND TIMES STATED AND SNAPPED THE LOCKS TO THE SIDE DOOR AND BACK DOORS.  ENTRY HAS NOT BEEN GAINED, SUSPECTS  HAVE MADE OFF IN AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
