Theft from motor vehicle - Market Street BD13

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live near the location of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on Market Street BD13. This happened on Monday 13th April between 0800hrs and 1600hrs.

During the times and dates stated, unknown person(s) approached a vehicle that was parked and locked on the street. The front and rear number plates were removed from the vehicle and taken. The theft was discovered by the vehicle owner, who then reported it to the police.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious, or have any information that may assist, please contact the police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO.

If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check any footage from around the time of the incident for anything relevant.

Parking in well‑lit areas where possible

Using anti‑tamper or security screws on number plates

Reporting suspicious behaviour promptly
