THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a theft from motor vehicle that occurred on Collins Street between Tuesday 7th April 20:00hrs and Wednesday 8th April 07:30hrs 

We want to make residents aware of an incident where someone has approached a vehicle, caused damage to the driver’s window in order to get inside, and has taken items before leaving the area. 

Please remember to keep vehicles locked, remove valuables where possible, and report any suspicious activity straight away.

 If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicle security.
