Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Woodside Road on Wednesday 8th April between 00:47hrs and 01:47hrs

We want to make residents aware of a burglary involving a detached residential garage. Between the times stated, unknown suspects approached the garage unseen and forced entry by breaking the padlocked hasp and staple from the door. Items were taken from inside before the suspects left the area.

Please ensure outbuildings, sheds, and garages are securely locked and report any suspicious activity to the police.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your homes security.
