Attempted Burglary Near You - Moorcroft Avenue, Keighley BD22

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message as you live in the vicinity of an attempted burglary that occurred at 11.14pm on 01/04/2026 at an address on Moorcroft Avenue, Keighley. CCTV captured footage of a male checking the rear of the property, he then tried the car door handle and then checks the side house door. Both were locked and then the male makes off down the road. 

A 32 year old male has now been arrested in relation to this attempted burglary and several other crimes in the area. He was arrested after failing to stop for officers whilst driving a vehicle he stole in another burglary.
