Burglary Near You - WESTMINSTER GARDENS

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Westminster Gardens, this occurred on Saturday 21st March between 1400hrs and 2300hrs and the method of attack was by forcing the garage door and allowing entry. 

LOCUS IS A DWELLING SITUATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, BETWEEN THE TIMES AND DATES STATED UNKNOWN SUSPECT(S) HAVE APPROACHED THE VICTIMS GARAGE AND HAVE USED UNKNOWN FORCE/IMPLIMENTS TO RAISED THE ELECTRIC DOORS UP. THE VICTIMS MOTORBIKE IS REMOVED BUT NO OTHER ITEMS. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Saturday 21st March 1400-2300hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
