THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a theft from motor vehicle that occurred on Monday 16th March between 16:30hrs and Tuesday 17th March 18:30hrs

SUSPECT(S) STEAL THE FRONT AND REAR NUMBER PLATES FROM THE VICTIM'S VEHICLE BY UNSCREWING THEM AND LEAVING A PART OF THE EDGE OF EACH BEHIND ON THE FLOOR. THEY ALSO SMASH THE WINDSCREEN SO IT SHATTERS PART OF IT BUT THE GLASS IS HELD IN PLACE. NO ENTRY GAINED TO THE VEHICLE. THEY MAKE OFF UNSEEN IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicle security.
