Burglary Near You - Westgate Hill, Tong

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Westgate Hill, Tong on Thursday 26th February between 2000hrs and midnight.  

BETWEEN THE TIMES STATED UNKNOWN SUSPECT/S FORCE ENTRY INTO THE GARAGE WHICH IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE HOUSE BY UNKNOWN MEANS.  ONCE INSIDE THE GARAGE SUSPECTS HAVE SMASHED THREE WINDOWS TO GAIN ENTRY INTO THE VICTIMS CAR AND STOLEN ITEMS FROM WITHIN.  SUSPECTS HAVE THEN FORCED A VAN VAULT AND REMOVED TOOLS FROM THE VAULT MAKING OFF UNSEEN.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your homes security.
