Attempt Burglary - Near You - West View, BD4

Dear Resident,

Between 19:15 and 19:45 hours on 24/02/2026, an unknown suspect has attended the address and caused damage to the external door. The suspect has removed the external door lock casing by unknown means.

The suspect has then attempted to gain entry by prying open a window, using what is believed to be a crowbar or similar tool to wedge under the window frame. The attempt was unsuccessful, and no entry was gained.

The suspect has then made off on foot in the direction of New Hey Road. No further description of the suspect is available at this stage.
