Burglary Near You -Spinney Rise, Tong

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Spinney Rise, this occurred on Wednesday 25th February approximately 2217hrs the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

BETWEEN TIMES AND DATES UNKNOWN NUMBER OF SUSPECTS SNAP LOCK ON THE FRONT DOOR BEFORE MAKING AN UNTIDY SEARCH OF ADDRESS

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Wednesday 25th February approximately 2217hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
