Book your place at Wakefield district event to vote on how £100,000 will help tackle serious violence

Anyone living in the Wakefield district will get a chance to vote on how to spend £100,000 of the People's Fund to tackle Serious Violence. 

Local groups, organisations, agencies or service providers who have already submitted ideas will present their projects to residents who will vote on what they want to see in their community.

The projects with the most votes will be eligible to receive funding.

The 'You Decide' event will be held at Outwood Grange Academies Trust on Monday 9th March from 7-9pm.

The Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin's People's Fund is making up to £100,000 available for each district where groups and organisations can bid for up to £10,000 each.
