Drugs Warrant Executed - Flanshaw area |

Dear Resident, On the 18th of February, a warrant was executed at a property in the Flanshaw area under s23 Misuse of Drugs act. The residential property had been linked to organised crime groups operating within the Wakefield area.
This warrant was led by PC Gale and involved colleagues from Wakefield Central NPT with assistance from the Wakefield Op Precision team. Following forced entry to the property a substantial amount of uncut crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £3,000 was found along with a gas-powered black bb handgun, a machete, and a samurai sword. Two adapted electric bikes were located and seized from the garden.
Three females were inside the address, and all were arrested for Possession with Intent To supply Class A Drugs and Possession of an Offensive Weapon in a private dwelling. Following interview, they were released on bail while the investigation continues.
