Theft of motor vehicle - Manchester Road, BD5

Dear Resident,

Between 16th to 17th February 2026, the victim states that unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the vehicle by means unknown. Once inside, the suspect(s) tampered with the ignition and made off in the vehicle, leaving the scene unseen.

The vehicle is fitted with a tracking device. The victim, along with attending police units, followed the tracker to the indicated location. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle insecure, with visible damage to the ignition and electrical components.

The vehicle was subsequently recovered by police for further examination.
