Attempted Burglary - Highfield Road, Five Lane Ends BD2

Dear Resident,

At 11.37am on 12/02/2026, a door bell camera captured footage of a suspicious male approaching a property on Highfield Road, Five Lane Ends. The suspect was seen to be tampering with the letter box and had an implement in his hand. This is believed to have been a device to reach through a letter boxes and remove nearby keys. The suspect was also seen to try the house door handle, no entry was gained and nothing was reported stolen from the house. 

Please do not leave house and vehicle keys within easy reach of your door e.g. on hall tables or hooks etc.
