Burglary Near You - Little Horton Lane

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Little Horton Lane, this occurred between Monday 26th January and 31st January the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

LOCUS IS A HMO, END TERRACE 3 STOREY PROPERTY. UNKNOWN SUSPECT HAS ATTACKED FLAT DOOR, BREAKING LOCK AND FRAME TO GAIN ENTRY. UNTIDY SEARCH. SUSPECT EXITS VIA BROKEN FLAT DOOR AND MAKES OFF WITH A CHROMEBOOK LAPTOP AND ALEXA ECHO DOT.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Monday 26th January and 31st January to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
