Burglary Near You - White Abbey Road

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on White Abbey Road,  this occurred on Thursday 29th January between 0900hrs and 1830hrs the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

SUSPECTS UNKNOWN. BETWEEN TIMES AND DATE STATED, SUSPECTS HAVE ENTERED THROUGH THE REAR DOOR BY BREAKING THE LOCK. THEY HAVE COMPLETED UNTIDY SEARCH OF THE ADDRESS AND STOLEN  CASH AND HIGH VALUE JEWELLERY.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Thursday 29th January between 0900hrs and 1830hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
