Burglary Near You - Church Court

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Church Court, this occurred on Tuesday 27th January between 2000hrs and 2015hrs the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Suspects snap europrofile lock on side door, forcing entry. Suspects then go upstairs and make an untidy search, suspects leave address, taking nothing. Suspects then leave via POE. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Tuesday 27th January 1945hrs -2020hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
