It has been another extremely busy period for officers across Bradford South, as we continue our relentless work to disrupt drug-related crime and protect our communities.

🚨 Cannabis Farm Discovered – Wibsey

On 21 January 2026, officers from Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team forced entry to a property on Rooley Lane, Wibsey, following intelligence suggesting a cannabis farm was operating inside.

Officers discovered 497 cannabis plants spread across three floors, with an estimated street value of £500,000.

✅ One individual was arrested at the scene
✅ The individual has since been charged and remanded into custody

🚨 Class A Drugs Seized – Tong

On 22 January 2026, officers from Operation Sweet Gill executed a warrant at a property on Vulcan Street, Tong, following a lengthy investigation into a drugs line operating in the area.

A substantial quantity of Class A drugs was recovered, with an estimated street value of £200,000.

✅ Two individuals were arrested on suspicion of supply offences
