Burglary Near You - Dale Croft Rise

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Dale Croft Rise, this occurred between Saturday 17th January 1800hrs and Sunday 18th January 1600hrs and the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

SUSPECT IS UNKNOWN. THE PROPERTY IS A 5 BEDROOM HOUSE WITH A FRONT AND BACK GARDEN. BETWEEN TIME AND DATE STATED SUSPECT HAS ENTERED THROUGH BACK DOOR BY DAMAGING THE LOCK IN UNKNOWN WAY, ENTERING THE PROPERTY AND DOING AN UNTIDY SEARCH OF ALL BEDROOMS. SUSPECT HAS TAKEN A BLACK BOX

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Saturday 17th January 1800hrs and Sunday 18th January 1600hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
