Burglary Near You - Dawson Lane, BD6

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Dawson Lane sometime between 5pm and 6.50pm on 20/01/2026. The suspect/s gained entry to the address by snapping the cylinder lock on the side door. The suspect/s conducted an untidy search of the premises before making off unseen. It is not clear at this stage what, if anything, has been stolen.  

Crime occurrence 13260038341 refers.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it.  

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated.
