Theft from vehicle

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Monday 19th January at approx. 0126hrs  

SUSPECT APPROACHES UNATTENDED, CLOSED BUT NOT LOCKED CAR PARKED ON DRIVEWAY. OPEND DRIVER'S DOOR AND ENTERS CAR. SITS IN DRIVER'S SEAT AND SEARCHES INTERIOR, OPENING GLOVE BOX AND OTHER STORAGE AREAS. ALIGHTS FROM CAR AND CLOSES DOOR. GOES TO TAILGATE AND OPENS SAME. SEARCHES LUGGAGE AREA AND THEN CLOSES TAILGATE.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your Vehicle/home security.
