Drug Driver Arrested in Aberford

On the morning of Wednesday 10th December Officers from Wetherby and Harewood NPT conducted a traffic operation in the Aberford area.

A number of vehicles were stopped for speeding offences.

The team also stopped a female driver, who after attempting to evade police provided a positive roadside drugs test. As a result, she was arrested and brought into custody at Stainbeck Police Station.

Later that day she was released under investigation whilst we await the blood sample test result.
