Operation Limit in Roundhay

On Tuesday 2nd December, Officers from the Roundhay Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out their first Operation Limit of 2025. 

Operation limit is a national initiative focused on Drink and Drug Driving around the Festive Period. 

As a result of the operation in Roundhay, 19 vehicles were stopped, and 8 roadside breath tests were undertaken. One drugs wipe was also taken. We are pleased to report all readings came back with a negative result and the drivers were allowed to carry on their way. 

Here at North East Leeds NPT our message is clear, if you drink or drug drive, you can expect to be stopped and arrested. Getting behind the wheel of a vehicle after drinking or taking drugs is simply never acceptable – you are not only putting yourself at serious risk but others too.
