Don't leave your cars unattended on cold mornings.

Good morning Calderdale,

As we've all noticed over the last week, the temperature has plummeted quicker than we all would've liked. Cars are now thick of ice in the mornings and the ice scrapers are coming out of the glove box.

If you have an early morning commute and have to battle the ice, please don't leave your car unattended with the ignition on. We see a rise in theft of motor vehicles this time of year due to owners turning their car on to warm up, but then go inside to finish making a brew and keep warm. 

Please do not leave your keys unattended in your vehicle at any time.
