Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted proactive deployments yesterday (17/11), as part of the Sceptre campaign to reduce offending involving bladed weapons and educate people about the dangers of taking them onto our streets.
Sergeant Campbell, lead for the Killingbeck and Seacroft Neighbourhood Policing Team deployed resources to conduct a series of weapons sweeps, engage with communities and businesses, across the East Leeds Neighbourhood Policing ward areas.
A quantity of Class A and B drugs were located during the deployments and officers were pleased to report no weapons were located, at the time of searching.
