🚓 Castleford shoplifter arrested & charged 🚓

On Sunday 16th November, PS Jaworski and PS Morrisey were on foot patrol around Castleford town centre as part of Operation Mastville – our NPT’s dedicated project reduce crime & anti-social behaviour in the town centre.

They were informed by staff from B&M that a male had been into store multiple times that afternoon & stolen a range of items by hiding it under his clothing. PS Jaworski and PS Morrisey quickly located the male after an area search and recovered over £130 worth of stolen goods.

The male was swiftly arrested and charged later that evening. He was denied bail and remanded to attend court.
