Dear Resident, PC Gleeson and PC Pickering from Wakefield Central NPT East have been recognised for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to provide a premium service to the communities of Eastmoor, College Grove and Portobello.
The officers pictured below with ACC Miller, were awarded Assistant Chief Constable commendations; both officers have been prolific with their incessant drive to remove criminality and ASB from their ward areas. Between them they have made over 150 arrests in the last twelve months, and their investigations have resulted in the recovery of tens of thousands of pounds of controlled drugs and stolen property. These officers embody the NPT commitment to protect venerable people, make our communities safer and tackle crime.
Inspector Fraser, Wakefield Central NPT said: “I am beyond proud of these two officers and how they approach their duties. They deliver excellence through a proactive approach with investigatory mindsets. No stone is left unturned in their pursuit of justice for the victims of the crimes they investigate. Local offenders know their names which is indicative of their positive impact on Wakefield.”
